10 Minute DIY Stroller Workout
Did you know that according to the Canadian Physical Activity Guidelines “to achieve health benefits, adults between 18-64 years should accumulate at least 150 minutes of moderate- to vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity per week, in bouts of 10 minutes or more”? Strength building exercises should also be built into that routine, at least two days a week and the more you can do, the better.
We know, that can seem like a lot – and as busy parents ourselves we totally get it, so we’d like to help you get there. In addition to structured fitness programs like Fit Together Stroller Fitness and our other classes, another way to get in more active time is to combine it with outings with your baby and/or kids.
With warmer weather upon us, it’s the perfect time to try our 10 Minute Do-it-Yourself Stroller Fitness workout. It can be done “on the go” in your neighbourhood or at your local park.
So grab a good pair of sneakers, a timer (phone) and water bottle and let’s get moving!
